Pork Belly Burnt Ends with Texanz Pork Rub
Pork Belly Burnt Ends (BBQ Candy)
These are rich, sticky, and completely addictive.
Ingredients
- 1kg pork belly (cubed)
- Texanz BBQ Pork Rub
- Brown sugar, butter, honey
- BBQ sauce
Method
- Cut skinless pork belly into 2.5cm cubes and coat with Texanz BBQ Pork Rub.
- Smoke at 140°C for 2 hours, or until the colour is rich and golden.
- Transfer to a tray with butter, brown sugar, and honey.
- Cover and cook for another 1–2 hours, or until soft and tender.
- Add BBQ sauce and cook uncovered for a further 30 minutes until the sauce becomes tacky.
Result
Soft, sticky bites with crispy edges and deep BBQ flavour.
