Pork Belly Burnt Ends with Texanz Pork Rub

Pork Belly Burnt Ends (BBQ Candy)

These are rich, sticky, and completely addictive.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cut skinless pork belly into 2.5cm cubes and coat with Texanz BBQ Pork Rub.
  2. Smoke at 140°C for 2 hours, or until the colour is rich and golden.
  3. Transfer to a tray with butter, brown sugar, and honey.
  4. Cover and cook for another 1–2 hours, or until soft and tender.
  5. Add BBQ sauce and cook uncovered for a further 30 minutes until the sauce becomes tacky.

Result

Soft, sticky bites with crispy edges and deep BBQ flavour.
